There’s a neighboring property that’s been up for sale and empty for quite a while. It has a lovely orchard that went to waste this fall, but a few trees had apples still hanging on this week. We couldn’t take it anymore, and ran up the road to snag a few before they all fell to rot on the ground.

Thaddeus built, in a previous lifetime, this awesome homemade apple press. With teamwork from Talina’s visiting mom, we managed to get through 5 gallons of apple cider in just a few hours!
